The SHACK EATING CHALLENGE (“Challenge”) is an activity by Shake Shack

Philippines (“Sponsor”) open only to legal residents of Metro Manila and who are eighteen (18)

years of age or older. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other advertising,

promotional or other materials, these Official Rules shall govern. Employees, officers,

Representatives and agencies of Shake Shack Philippines and SSI Group, as well as the immediate family and relatives up to second degree of consanguinity are not eligible to participate in the Challenge. Only individuals meeting all eligibility requirements stated in these Official Rules may participate in the Challenge (“Participant”)

Registration period is from 12:01am of Sept 15 to 11:59pm of Sept 24, 2023 with participating branches at Central Square BGC, SM Megamall, Greenbelt 5, Alabang Town Center, SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa and Gateway Mall 2 and open to Metro Manila residents.

For a single-receipt purchase worth P2,500 from any participating Shake Shack branch, customer is eligible to register in the Shack Ultimate Eating Challenge. Receipt/s must be dated between September 1 to 24, 2023. Valid purchases may be made via Dine In, Takeaway or Delivery. 

Participant must do the following for their registration entries to be valid:

1. 1. Completely fill up the registration form
   2. Submit a clear copy of their proof of purchase from Shake Shack worth P2,500
   3. Pay a participation fee of P500 through the GCash QR code provided in the registration form
   4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions

Qualified participant will receive an email from [email protected] with the following details: 

1. 1. Confirmation of registration
   2. One (1) digital ticket, non-transferrable
   3. Waiver form

Walk-ins may be accepted. The same requirements will apply

Challenge event happens on September 28, 2023, 2PM - 5PM at Shake Shack Mall of Asia

1. Open to all ages 18 and above
2. Entry is limited to the first 20 registered participants only
3. Visit https://livenow.ph/shackeatingchallenge to register. 7. Walk ins may be accepted. The same requirements will apply

1. Contestants must be at the contest venue by 1:30pm 

2. Contestants must register on site and present the following:

1. • Valid ID with picture and date of birth
   • Hard copy of the signed waiver form

Contestants must not touch the Shake Shack menu items prior to the starting signal.

Only entire Buffalo Fries, Chicken Bites and Chicken Sandwich will be counted. 

Contestants may drink water in between. Water will be provided. 

The Ultimate Shack Eating Challenge will have 2 rounds: Elimination & Championship

For the elimination round, contestant will draw lots on the event day as to which Category they will be competing in for the Elimination Round

1. • Buffalo Fries round – First three (3) to finish eating 5 servings of Buffalo Fries within 10mins will advance to the Championship round
     
   • Buffalo Chicken Bites round - First three (3) to finish eating 30 pcs of Buffalo Chicken Bites within 10mins will advance to the Championship round

For the Championship round, all six (6) qualifiers from the Elimination Rounds will compete for the right of being called the first Ultimate Shack Eating Champion. The first to finish all ten (10) Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches in 15 minutes shall be declared the winner

A Tie-Breaker round will be implemented, if necessary. The fastest participant to finish a tray of 6pc Buffalo Chicken Bites, 1 serving of Buffalo Fries and 1 Buffalo Chicken Sandwich will be declared the winner.

All portions of the Buffalo Fries, Chicken Bites and Chicken Sandwich must be eaten, including the dipping sauce (Buffalo and Ranch)

When the time limit is up, contestants may not put any additional Shack item into their mouths. They will have 20 seconds to swallow what is in their mouths. Any contents remaining in the contestant’s mouths at the end of the 20 seconds will not be counted.

Partially eaten Shack items will not be counted.

Visible signs of sickness will result in disqualification.

All participants will receive a Shack Tee after the Challenge.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the Challenge should non-authorized intervention, fraud, weather, force majeure events or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupts or affects the administration, security fairness or proper conduct of the Challenge. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify an individual it determines, in its sole or absolute discretion, is or attempting or intending to: (a) tamper with the any aspect of the raffle (b) defraud Sponsor (c) undermine the legitimate operation of the Challenge by cheating, deception or other unfair practices (d) abuse, threaten or harass any other participants, Sponsor, or representatives of the Sponsor or (e) act in violation of these Official Rules. In such event(s), Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any person to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

Specialty Food Retailers Inc. and Shake Shack Philippines reserve the right to validate the registration details and receipts. Receipts that are defaced, crumpled, tampered or receipts lesser than ¾ its actual size will not be honored with concurrence of DTI.

Employees of Specialty Food Retailers, Inc, participating Shake Shack Philippines branches, advertising agencies, suppliers/contractors and their relatives of up to second degree or consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.

In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, the senior citizen can avail of the promotional discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizen Act of 2010, whichever is higher.

All entries remain the sole property of Specialty Food Retailers Inc. with all participant information held within Specialty Food Retailers Inc. secured database of entries. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes each participant’s consent to Specialty Food Retailers Inc.’s use of their name, personal description, likeness and opinions for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media. All Participants and Winners shall agree to release, indemnify and hold Specialty Food Retailers Inc and partners harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind rising in connection with or as a result of participating in the Challenge or the Winner’s acceptance or use of any Prize.
